I had met Haley Sawtelle at the Human Experience LV open mic nights originally at Hop Nuts in the Arts District on Main Street (Las Vegas). In that noisy environment she had a quiet presence that would hush the crowd wanting to hear her lovely voice. This may have been the first time I saw her perform at the featured act of an open mic night.
